4. AI-assisted processing
Evercroft uses AI-assisted tools in parts of its internal operations, including drafting communications, organizing information, summarizing approved business or property records, identifying follow-up items, generating marketing drafts and supporting administrative workflows.
AI is intended to support—not replace—human judgment for homeowner-facing decisions, provider approvals, compliance determinations, property observations and other material decisions. We aim to limit information sent to AI services to what is reasonably necessary for the task and to keep sensitive access credentials out of ordinary AI prompts.
5. Service providers and disclosures
Evercroft may disclose information to service providers that help us operate the business, subject to appropriate business and security controls. Depending on the service, these may include Cloudflare for website delivery and security; Supabase for database, authentication, storage and backend services; Stripe for checkout and billing; Google services for business email and authorized communications; Meta/Facebook, LinkedIn and Buffer for connected social-publishing or marketing tools; AI service providers used for approved workflows; and independent home-service professionals when sharing information is reasonably necessary to quote, schedule, perform or document homeowner-authorized work.
We may also disclose information to professional advisers, insurers, regulators, courts or law enforcement when reasonably necessary for legal, insurance, safety, fraud-prevention or compliance purposes.
Evercroft does not sell personal information as a business model. We do not provide private homeowner records or property files to advertisers for their own direct marketing.
6. Cookies, browser storage and analytics
Evercroft may use cookies, local storage, session storage or similar browser technologies needed for authentication, security, preferences, session continuity and website functionality. We also use first-party website analytics and campaign parameters to understand how visitors reach and use the site and which Evercroft pages or calls to action are useful.
Third-party services you choose to visit or use—such as Stripe checkout, Facebook, LinkedIn or other external websites—may use their own cookies and technologies under their own privacy policies.
7. Marketing communications
Transactional communications about an inquiry, membership, service appointment, payment, contract, Home Health Check, vendor application or account are different from promotional marketing. Where required, promotional communications provide a way to unsubscribe or change preferences. You may also contact us at any time to request that promotional email stop.
8. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain property and service history requested by the homeowner, administer accounts and contracts, resolve disputes, meet tax/accounting/insurance obligations, maintain appropriate audit and security records, or comply with law.
A deletion request may not require us to erase records that must be retained for legal, financial, security, fraud-prevention, contract or legitimate business-record purposes.
9. Security
Evercroft uses administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed for the nature of the information and the services we provide. Access to internal systems is limited according to role and operational need. Payment credentials are handled by payment providers rather than stored in Evercroft application records. No website, database, email system or cloud service can guarantee absolute security.
Massachusetts requires businesses that own or license certain personal information about Massachusetts residents to maintain appropriate safeguards. Evercroft reviews its information-security practices with those obligations in mind.
10. Your choices and requests
You may contact Evercroft to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you provided, or to ask questions about how your information is used. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Where applicable law provides additional rights, Evercroft will process verified requests as required by that law.
You can also choose not to provide optional information, although some information is necessary to open an account, process a payment, schedule a visit, coordinate a service professional or provide a requested service.
11. Children
Evercroft's website and home-management services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information directly from children through the public website.
12. External websites and services
The Evercroft website may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Evercroft services, technology, vendors or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of the page will be updated when material changes are published.
